    I just fought a Grunt from a balloon and all he had was three 673cp magikarp. I didn't even know this was possible.

    Edit: thanks to a link someone posted in the replies, I found out that this had a 1.1% chance of happening from a balloon

    I were walking around in Tokyo, then I stumble on to this guy, he was seating on an autonomous robot while leisurely catching Pokémon Go, that saves a lot of his energy from walking around! so convenient!

    Mega raids have basically ruined raiding

    Hi everyone. I know people have their grievances with mega raids/mechanics, but the worst part is that mega raids still negatively impact people who don't even want to engage in the mega mechanics. I was really excited to raid the original legendary birds when they were announced because I didn't play a lot when they initially came out. But the introduction of mega raids has severely impacted raid eggs. I'm in a discord that geographically encompasses around 200 gyms. Before mega raids were introduced, it was really easy to find T5 raids in the discord, but after mega raids its been really hard to find T5 raids within reach because mega raids are taking up so much space. Every time I check the discord it's mostly mega raids being announced, with the occasional T5. I work full time and am also a grad student so I don't have a lot of time to play the game. Before mega raids, I was basically guaranteed a T5 whenever I checked the discord, now, I'm lucky to find one when I'm free. It's so annoying tbh. I know we're all upset that mega evolving is dependent on mega raids, and we should be, but their interference in T5 raids is what really irks me because you can't even escape the effects of mega raids even if you wanted to.
