    I used to play back when this was a big thing, and then I stopped. My depression and agoraphobia hit me hard, and I became housebound. I stopped exercising and my physical fitness is so low it may as well be nonexistent at this point. Even if I wanted to play, the required walking was beyond me, I figured.

    But I just went for a walk to the nearest pokestop with my dog, and it felt good! It wasn't very far, only to the next block, and I was out of breath and my legs hurt, but I caught a few pokemon and I'm excited to hatch the eggs I got, even if it will take me AGES at this rate to walk the required distance.

    I feel this is a step in the right direction for me, and I just wanted to share it!

    Just returning after playing for a few months on release!

    1. What's a lucky pokemon?
    2. What's a shiny?
    3. How do the community events work?
    4. Am I going to be able to solo 3,4 star raids at some point? (Rurally based and can't solo a 3 atm)
    5. Do the Pokémon rotate? Like week to week or month to month? Seems like around the same place they vary depending on the month?

    Giratina ruins pvp

    Am I the only one that feels like Giratina completely ruins PvP? It's either you run Giratina or run a full team to counter it. There should never be 1 pokemon that affects gameplay so much. I don't understand why Niantic hasn't don't anything about it being so overpowered. One pokemon ruins any fun you can have playing with builds because you can always count on having to counter it.

    Tips for excellent throws?

    All the tutorials I've found sum up to "step 1 set the ring, step 2 wait for pokemon to attack, step 3 throw excellent curveball" ahaha. It is step 3 I've got trouble with, any advice would be highly appreciated 😊

    I caught a 14/15/15 CP 610 (lvl 26) shiny Poliwag today, and I'm wondering whether I should evolve it into a Poliwrath or Politoed. From my research it seems that Poliwrath is the better Pokemon overall but I like how shiny Politoed looks. Am I likely to be in a situation where I'll need a good Poliwrath? Should I just go with what I think looks better? Is Poliwag likely to get a CD?

    Themed gyms

    Imagine if you battle and win a gym. When you add your Pokémon everyone that wants to join your gym has to be from the same type. That would make it a lot more like the gyms in the games and serie and that would be way cooler in my opinion.

    Can someone explain to me why the price for pokemon coins goes up as you buy more?

    I'm in the Canadian store so I don't know if this will carry on outside of my country but 100 coins are listed as 0.99 and then it jumps to 6.99 for 550 coins then 1200 coins at 13.99 and the only one that is actually a deal by comparison is the 139.99 for 14,500 coins, is this a glitch??

    I don't understand.
