Here's the story of his I got it. I was just sitting at my home sending gifts to friends. My gps then acts up and my character runs up to a pokestop. There was a growlite and I clicked on it so I could get some more growlite candy but oh boy it was a shiny. I golden razz berried it! And caught it on first go. I am a casual player and I work 9 to 5 so if I am playing pogo its going to be limited to an hour or so. I have several pokestops in a nearby park but the quests did not spawn the mons I am missing because its all RNG. Now we are nearing the end and I have yet to get any Chimchars or Chikoritas. Why not have them all in t1 like with Fennec, Frokie and Chespin? We were all praising them for remote raids and given the popularity of discord raids it would have been so much better to just go and raid the missing mons around the world while at the same time SPEND money on remote passes. Instead a lot of people are not going to get the medal and feel good about the fact that they participated in this event and have something to show for other than a stupid balloon pikachu. This is the first collector medal I will be missing and it sucks... [link] [comments] |

I'm just getting back into the game recently and am looking super forward to go fest being remote this year, a bunch of my friends are gonna get together and go hunting both days. But I was watching some YouTube videos about how to prepare and they were all "have 800 free Pokémon slots" and "have at least 1k ultra balls," but the problem is, I'm level 30, have 350 Pokémon slots in general, and the same for my item bag. Is there anything I can do to prepare myself for this other than just transfer everything I get and hope for the best? Any tips I missed in the past three years? Some strategy to level up? I keep hearing about EX candies at 40 but it feels impossible to get that far you know? Anyways, thanks for any tips. [link] [comments] |
| I calculated the average number of days between my shiny Pokemon Posted: 13 Jul 2021 04:25 PM PDT I got bored and started screwing around in Excel. I wanted to calculate the average number of days between obtaining shiny Pokemon, but there were variables that had to be accounted for. I did not include the total number of shinies caught on community day, I just included those as one catch. I also had to account for shiny Pokemon that were hatched as opposed to caught in the wild, raids, special research, Team Rocket and trades. My average number of days between all obtained shiny Pokemon is 18.5 days. This included ALL Pokemon (caught in the wild, trades, hatches, special research, raids and Team Rocket) with the exception of multiples caught on community days. My average number of days between shiny Pokemon that were caught in the wild is 27.3 days. My average number of days between shiny Pokemon that were hatched is 101.6 days. I am really curious as to others' average number of days between shiny Pokemon. I will probably figure out my husband's and my son's as well, just to compare. I'm sorry, I know this is probably boring for most of you and many will think it is a stupid shit post and downvote it, but I just wanted to share this with others that play. I'm now level 31, have 8 legendary Pokemon, and have 37 shinies. I've also walked 335.2k. I've caught 2,422 Pokemon, spun 1,075 Pokestops/Gyms, and have 35 friends. I also have a Porygon as my buddy. | Hundreds of KMs from nearest PokeStop/Gym Posted: 13 Jul 2021 04:51 PM PDT Hey everyone, I work in a very remote community in Australia and have recently started playing PoGo. Since there are no gyms or stop here, I think played for a couple months before I could even spin my first PokeStop when I went to go visit town (6-10hr drive, depending) for a wedding. I'm currently level 29 but a far cry off the required 38 to suggest stops/gyms to Niantic, especially with the way the required exp for each level is scaling now. I was wondering if there would be another way to get some put in around the community. Any help is appreciated.
