| Niantic please add the shiny sound in the game Posted: 12 Jul 2021 06:50 PM PDT Don't know how many times I would have failed a shiny if I didn't pay attention to the screen but if we had the shiny sound on when you find it while grinding would be amazing. I hope this is something that can be added in the game would make the experience so much more special. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Also this year's Go Fest is around music so would be nice to see this addition added to the game. He is very much into catching legendaries and shinies so I spent some time figuring out how to get the mystery box so he can catch a shiny meltan. On the first day no luck but on the second day he could use the box success! 500 cp 2 stars = a very happy boy. After 15 minutes he came over and showed it to me without saying it was the shiny, so I instantly deleted it as I try to clean up his dex from time to time. Ohhh boy what a sad and disappointed boy. He felt terribly. Luckily on his last throw of the day he caught a new shiny 13, 15, 15 cp 18. Tldr. Deleted my sons shiny meltan [link] [comments] |

Posted: 13 Jul 2021 07:49 AM PDT I was just minding my own business at home, opened Pokemon Go to look for a Team Rocket grunt (I got 2 Pokestops within reach as well), a Treecko popped up and I was like why not. Then lo and behold, its shiny! It's now my second shiny starter pokemon after the lovely shiny Charmander I found during its community day a while back. | Posted: 12 Jul 2021 03:22 PM PDT So... I've been playing this game for quite a while now and still love playing. My only real problem is that in my area there is a bit of a monopoly on the gyms. Normally I don't mind too much, I'll wait for the pokemon to get low then attack after the occupiers have had the full coin time. Normal stuff right? Unfortunately the reason there is a monopoly Is because there is one older gentleman who walks around with a case, yes a case of phones. At least 5 on the go at once. Not really in the spirit of the game but I can cope with the unfairness usually. However, today following me and my wife taking the gym, someone created multiple accounts with similar names to my own but with the word cheat following or loser or some other rude things. I don't know if it is the same guy but there aren't many around here that play so I wouldn't be surprised. They have done enough to fill a gym with the same colour as mine to stop us taking any spots. I may be jumping to conclusions I suppose but I'm just so shocked. It's a game at the end of the day, it's meant to be fun. Not a way to be rude and nasty to people. I'm sorry for the long rant but I wanted to put it somewhere. Hopefully this reaches someone that can help or knows some way to stop this from happening to someone else. UPDATE: I received a message from niantic saying that on next login the players will have to remove their names and choose new ones. I was planning to evolve my dragonair and very luckily bumped into the jump-start research because of Pokemon go's 5th anniversary! | Can we get a sorting tab by evolution line? Posted: 13 Jul 2021 03:45 AM PDT I don't play much but I often sort through my Pokémon to see which ones I can evolve and which I should partner with to get enough candy. I try to keep only the ones strong enough to evolve and I noticed there's no option to sort your Pokémon by their evolutions if they evolved (or had a pre-evolution) in different games. Not that it's hard to go scrolling for my Sirfetch'd after seeing if my Farfetch'd has a high enough CP to be better, but it would be useful to not have to sort at all. Thoughts? [link] [comments] |

| Posted: 13 Jul 2021 07:17 AM PDT I looked on PVPoke and other websites to find a decent team for the great league. Everywhere i look has the most random pokemon at the top. I am missing a lot of these pokemon so it looks like im never going to be able to win a match. I just grinded to level 20 in battles to geta nice deoxys. Does anybody know an underrated team? Obviously i cant put all of my pokemon storage into this post, but i can respond to comments with what pokemon i am missing or not. Thank you for help if you give it, i really want this deoxys. I've played VGC for years and I'm taking a break and waiting for the next main series games to drop, so I've been playing Competitive Go and really liking it. My question is how do Research cycles work. My buddy just picked up his game too around a month after me and it seems like he and I are getting different Research 🔬. A little more info, my Account is new ( made on Gibble day) and his is From when Go started in 2016. The thing is he never STARTED any research at any point until a month ago. He got the " Distracted by something Shiny" research while I got the " A seven-colored Shadow". I'm just trying to figure out how it works. I feel like you have to have your game turned on at the time the research starts, or something. But it doesn't make sense to me completely because we have different ones. Thanks [link] [comments] |
| I deleted a Pokémon that I haven't and I regret it Posted: 12 Jul 2021 10:04 PM PDT I was making the cleaning previous to the Go Fest, deleting Pokémon that I don't need. In some part I started to value the Happinys. I saw one of them with bad IV's and I didn't know why I saved it in favorites, for that reason I deleted it. 2 minutes later I discovered that the Happiny I deleted was the only Happiny with flowers crown. I am an donkey for that and I remembered the more than 60 hatched eggs to get it. I feel sad now :( [link] [comments] |
