- Normally I don't do Christmas pics, but with the Shadow Delibirds released, I had to! Here's Arlo and Candela at it again as Krampus and St. Nikolaus. I tried to make them look like vintage style cards, but they're from a techy setting anyway!

Not all of us have the luxury of managing to do that. Its bad enough there's not any pokestops within walking distance, now the game expects me to find new ones daily. [link] [comments] |

Instead, this beauty greets you with his soulless eyes and the knowledge that you have yet another Sableye to add to your collection of broken dreams. (For real, I originally started out liking Sableye the first time I hatched him. Now he's just a nuisance. 10km eggs are rare as they are, and it takes me a few days to hatch them. | Jumped out of Boxing Day lunch to catch Regigigas with my kid and don't regret it at all Posted: 25 Dec 2019 10:32 PM PST My 5yo has been super keen to catch Regigigas, but as we live in a regional city we hadn't been able to trigger an EX Raid. No one in town had. Every gym we drove past: "Dad, that's an EX Raid gym, we need to do a raid there." Knowing that Regi was about to exit the EX raids, everyone on the local discord decided to target one gym in hopes of triggering it. We finally got the invite, but I realised it was going to clash with my family's Boxing Day lunch. I ummed and arred over whether we should go, or whether I should even tell him. In the end, I told him, we went and it was great. Copped a few snide comments from family members on our way out, but who cares. My kid and I have a hobby that we both enjoy doing together, that gets us out of the house, meeting new people and going for walks. We had one scary moment when I realised that the kid was in his own lobby of 1, not in the group lobby of 19. Managed to jump him across with a few seconds to go. Regi broke out seven times for me, caught him on my last ball. The kid caught it on his third try. All in all, it was worth it. We had a great time, first Regi for both of us. And it's good to spend some one on one time with my boy, now that we have two kids we have precious little if that. [link] [comments] |

| Posted: 25 Dec 2019 09:17 PM PST TL;DR my wife and I throw pokemon puns at each other to flirt Christmas night my wife and I are driving separately home but I'm following behind her... she pulls off to a park (naturally) to hit poke stops. Later on we pull up side by side at a light, windows rolled down and I look at her in her car beside me "can I take a 'pikachu'?" (Pun intended). Her response, "I like your pokemon". Pokemon Go has given us a hobby to share, and we even find fun puns to fill in our day to express our appreciation for each other. [link] [comments] |

| Today I experienced the most painful thing I've ever experienced in this game. Posted: 25 Dec 2019 08:12 PM PST So I was coming back from a little family trip to the Riverwalk and we were around the block from our house. I was in the back seat and I was shiny checking some Pokémon when all of a sudden, I encountered a Beautiful Purple Santa Bird. I got very excited, and I was coming up with a name, but both Pokémon GO and Christmas had it out for me. I threw my Ultra Ball, and I waited a minute for the catch screen to load, but then the words "This Item Couldn't Be Used At The Time" appeared and I was kicked out of the catch screen and into the overworld. It was glitched. There were no Pokéstops, no Pokémon, and no floor. It was just the sky. I restarted the game, but by the time I restarted the game, we were home (I wasn't driving). I checked my Pokémon GO history and it didnt say I had caught it or that it had ran away, so I walked back. Soon, I walked back to where it was, and it appeared on my screen... then disappeared half a second later. It despawned right in front of my eyes. And that's when I realised this was my first Shiny Fail. [link] [comments] |

| Crossing My Fingers for a Vanillite release for Summer Time Posted: 26 Dec 2019 12:45 AM PST I just want that smiling little floating glob of soft-serve following me around in the summer time because I giggle every time my Vanillite picks up that ball in my camp in Pokemon Sword and is just so happy to participate. It would also be really neat to have event variants like different flavors of ice cream, with the special Vanilluxe being more like a traditional sundae. That would probably never happen but I'm just looking forward to the day where I'll have my derpy two-faced ice cream monster guarding the gate to every gym I conquer. [link] [comments] |

| Posted: 25 Dec 2019 10:50 PM PST Every time after "playing" with my buddy, the camera automatically switches to AR+ which results in a black screen since my Android phone doesn't support AR+. I have to log off in order to "fix" the issue temporarily because eventually I will have to "play" with my buddy again later on...this is freaking annoying to say the least. [link] [comments] |
