    Once upon a time, during a dust storm, a Vennonat appeared before me. It's eyes as blue as the sky above it, with it's fur complimenting the coming of the night sky. I was able to snap a photo, but he fled as I reached for my pokeball. Ill never forget you Blue Eyed Vennonat.

    Pokemon Stuck in Greece

    Last year my gf went to Greece for a conference. On a mountain there was a gym with only one pokemon inside. So she thought this is a perfect spot to get some coins. Ever since it is stuck there and someone keeps feeding berries to it. So far no red or yellow trainer is coming to fight and take over the gym. By now this gym is full and turned out to be a trap for even more blue trainers.

    Seems like after the pandemic we have to go to Greece for a rescue-misison-vacation to return all these poor Pokemons to their trainers :) fine by me

    How is it possible that you can't get your raid pass back if you choose not to do the raid. I live in nyc and I am usually the one to chuck in the first pass. About one in three times no one ever joins and I come away from it having completely wasting the pass. This has to be the most fucked up gambling mechanism I've ever seen in a video game because you are essentially gambling just to have a chance at gambling again in catching the raid pokemon and it having ideal ivs or movesets. I know a lot of people would say "just join after enough people have already joined" but if everyone thought that way then raids would just straight up never happen. The first 3 people are literally gambling and pretty much carrying the go community on their back by doing so and it's not ok. Does anyone know if niantic ever addressed this or spoke about returning the passes if the raid doesnt occur?

    Eevee evolved into Flareon instead of Espeon

    I walked 10km with my Eevee then evolved it during the day like the quest, and Google, said to do to get Espeon. Then it just turns into Flareon. What am I missing? http://imgur.com/gallery/RMUu1xH

    I don’t understand these parts of PvP. Please correct me if I’m wrong. I’m definitely encouraging it!

    These are the parts of PvP that I don't like. I'm hoping I'm simply just wrong about these.

    1) Why are charged attacks that are quicker just so much more effective overall? Obviously, some quick charged attacks against certain types suck while some longer charged attacks are awesome, but overall, I just feel like PvP in this game highly favors quicker charged attacks. Quick charged attacks often force your opponent to use up their shields and when they don't, they can still deal devastating amounts of damage.

    2) The initial matchup has a huge effect on the rest of the match. If you are forced to swap out in the initial matchup, you are immediately on your heels and many times it's difficult to recover....almost too difficult.

    3) I've noticed some matches where my opponent and I have the same Pokémon with the same charged attack, yet he's able to get his charged attacks off much quicker than me. I'm tapping my phone really fast too so I know that's not the reason. Wtf?

    I'm so pumped! He kept escaping even with excellent throws and golden razz berries. I caught him on the 10th ball with a great throw. I am still in disbelief. I don't do raids very often and fell off playing daily so this has renewed my love for pokemon go! 100% perfect Zekrom http://imgur.com/a/oZZBAfR
