Niantic released the plan for Day 2 for Go Fest and since it's raids it doesn't matter if you paid or not. Honestly this will be a great day for people to get some legendaries that are alluding them and hopefully some cool shinies. Personally wished we could have got Deoxys or Darkrai as well but this will still be some good raids Serebii Release Statement below: Niantic have announced details for Pokémon GO Fest Day 2. During this, there will be special Raid Battles of all Legendary Pokémon appearing thus far in the game. These will rotate in 1 hour slots During Wind Hour, occurring from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. local time, Mewtwo, Ho-Oh, Latias, Latios, Regigigas, Altered Forme Giratina, Cresselia, and Therian Forme Tornadus will be appearing in five-star raids. During Lava Hour, occurring from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. local time, Moltres, Entei, Regirock, Groudon, Heatran, Reshiram, Therian Forme Landorus, and Yveltal will be appearing in five-star raids. During Frost Hour, occurring from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, Articuno, Suicune, Lugia, Regice, Kyogre, Palkia, and Kyurem will be appearing in five-star raids. Plus, Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf will be appearing in five-star raids in the regions that they normally appear in! During Thunder Hour, occurring from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time, Zapdos, Raikou, Registeel, Rayquaza, Dialga, Therian Forme Thundurus, Zekrom, and Xerneas will be appearing in five-star raids. Edit: More information- Also all spawns from Day 1 carry over to Day 2 so there will still be some nonRaid things to do. Posted: 23 Jun 2021 08:40 PM PDT Genuine question, and yes I have already googled it other than Dino and a few 1 off Pokémon like melmetal, what does the community perceive as the rarest Pokémon in the game currently? I played when the game first came out and at the time dragonite, lapras, etc were the rarest but now seem common place…curious what I should be excited about and chasing! All input is valid! I've been working on it forever. Regardless, when it's my buddy, it's bumped to level 50, and I lose my power up button. When I swap buddies, I get it back. My concern is that if I get it to 50 without best buddy, equipping it will not make a change in CP. Can anyone offer guidance? [link] [comments] |
| I don't get Niantic's decision making at all... Posted: 23 Jun 2021 09:29 PM PDT It's bad enough that Niantic wants to revert some of the best changes that they have made to the game (looking at you gym/pokestop range increase), but now they are removing pokestops and gyms in the area??? I live un a suburban area that is fairly far from the main city and the only two places for me to really get items from spins are from two parks that are opposite ends from each other which are hour long round trips each. I simply do not have the time to get to both parks at a time. One park only has a single pokestop and gym while the other one that I primarily go to had two gyms and four pokestops which was fantastic as that was the most I could get to when I would go for my walks. However, today as I was on my walk I noticed that Niantic removed all but one pokestop and gym from the better of the two parks...As if getting items was hard enough since I don't have quick and easy access to all the pokestops I could ask for like many find downtown, I spend an hour to go and do six total spins to now only being able to do two... I was already considering being done with this game after the news of the revert of the interaction distance but if all I get access to is one gym and one pokestop at each park then there is no point in me playing anymore as getting resources in time for CD or Go Fest because I will never have enough to enjoy the day. And I refuse to put any money into this game that isn't remote raid passes. It's really sad to see how little Niantic cares about their player base and the overall quality of the game. I want to be able to enjoy playing the game and the outdoors at the same time and Niantic seems to find new ways to kill the fun each day. tl;dr- Niantic removes over half of the already limited available pokestops in my area limiting how many items I can get forcing me to either dump my wallet or quit playing the game. I've been putting my one Meltan from the quest in gyms and feeding it berries to try and get enough candy to evolve. At 295 candies I learned about mystery boxes and now this happened. Tacoma - huge presence even up to 2 years ago - obviously living in a metro area was Pokémon go heaven. San Antonio - last year it was rare to get a Pokémon spawn in my suburb in NE San Antonio. Rural Kansas - not even a single Pokémon is popping up on my nearby radar - it's completely blank. This game is not meant for rural people. [link] [comments] |

I had already known I was about to finally get enough candies to evolve my Noibat, which I'd been going for since early December 2020. | Posted: 24 Jun 2021 05:31 AM PDT Since there has been covid cases in my country recently, ive been staying at home playing pokemon go occassionally, and i was running low of pokeballs. Then i was clicking on the pokemon when theres suddenly a shiny aipon!! But i had 2 pokeballs and the aipon broke out of both despite my gold razzberry (i was desperate). I quikcly checked all the available promo codes for pokeballs but there were none. Afterwards, i went to the pokemon go friend code subreddit to quickly get friends so that we could exchange gifts and possibly get a pokeball. Finally after a while i got a single ultraball from a gift, so waited for my avatar to walk back to aipon and guess what i missed the shot lol. So i continued to wait for gifts and got 10 pokeballs. But i was too late the aipon despawned :) rip shiny aipon TL;DR shiny aipon despawned b4 i could catch bc i did not have enough pokeballs [link] [comments] |

| Need help deciding between two Regigigas Posted: 24 Jun 2021 05:31 AM PDT Hello, I've recently caught a new shiny Regigigas with Ice type HP and IV's: 11/15/12. But I aslo have a 100% Regigigas with ghost type HP. I actually like Regigigas a lot and want to use it despite (from what I've researched) that it is a rather sup par performer in PvP simulations. I guess I'm really just trying to solicit some group wisdom on weather ice type HP is significantly better than ghost type enough to compensate for non perfect IVs. [link] [comments] |
| Posted: 24 Jun 2021 08:32 AM PDT Im jumping back into the game after a few years, and I want fully to understand CP, powering up, and evolving. It's a little confusing to me, but what I know so far is that the maximum cp of a pokemon is determined by your level, and their max cp caps out when youre level 40. Also, the maximum cp of a wild pokemon you can find caps out when youre level 35. Also I know that it's best to wait to have all of a mon's candies before fully evolving, and i think it's best to evolve first, then power up. Does a pokemon's potential cp increase if i catch it (same cp) if im say level 25 compared to any level above? Also am I missing anything? I want to understand the basics so I can enjoy the game without worrying. Also, ive had this account since the game came out and i havent played super optimally, would it be best to restart and play optimally, or not do that? Im level 25. [link] [comments] |

| Posted: 24 Jun 2021 05:39 AM PDT Day by day i got turn off by this game. I just updated this app in my phone and went off to fight some grunt. After winning, instead showing me the catch screen for shadow pokemon, it showed me the regular map screen with catch layout without the catch background and pokemon. So basically im catching an invisible pokemon! Worst to come during the PvP battle where my screen got stuck after battle countdown (3,2,1) while my opponent not stuck at all and resulting me lose in several match. What is happening with this game honestly??? I have been playing this since 2016 and never face this kind of bugs before. Does any player also faced this issue as well? [link] [comments] |

My game tracks steps, but it doesn't work on the buddy or egg either. Basically, it counts for the weekly challenge and also counts underneath the egg but doesn't work on the actual egg. I know personally I am very unhappy with the talk of removing remote passes and reducing incense effectiveness, as Im sure many of you are. Perhaps if everyone suggested the things I see talked about a lot in this Reddit, such as the lack of diversity in spawns, we may be able to not only put a halt to losing features, but maybe get some new ones added. For me, this will make the game absolutely unplayable, which sucks because I love this game and it is one of my only pastimes in the pandemic.
