    Hello every one. Recently rules wikis across reddit started to malfunction for android users and reddit staff are aware of the bug. That being said it helped bring to our attention that a lot of posts that violate rule 2b were not well understood as several users started writing in saying the link was dead and they didn't know what was wrong.

    We are currently working with magic eyebot to try and catch these all before they gain traction to avoid confusion, but no bot is perfect, and the humans here are volunteers that enjoy playing the game especially during events, so sometimes stuff stays up for longer than we would like. Since the link the bot provides temporarily doesn't work for a large part of the mobile base I am making this post to try and help every one out.

    In an attempt to clarify the rule Here is a post that follows it perfectly as an example

    Please note this only applies to non AR screenshots and not to AR images, art, memes etc. Those all have a different set of rules.

    The tldr is that non AR screenshots need to be posted as a text post if you are on old reddit, a regular post (not image and video or link) if you are on new reddit, or the equivalent of those if you are on a mobile app.

    We have found that posts that follow this rule are more engaging and more thought out. It helps weed out the 420 666 69 0 iv perfect iv and similar posts that are low effort.

    One of the most vocal complaints about the sub is the volume of images in it. This rule helps reduce that volume by weeding out low effort posts, but also still allows users who really want to share their screenshot to do so with some thought.

    We have considered just blocking images outright, or making all images follow this format, but non AR images, and Pokemon Go related art and memes seem to do quite well on the sub in general so the votes say yall want them, while non AR screenshots clutter up new and often don't take off.

    I hope this helps every one understand the rule a bit better and why it exists.

    u/Political_Ronin had a good idea in This Post that deserves more Attention.

    Remember when the game first started and squirtle, charmander, and bulbasaur spawned? Thats how they should do the voting. Have the professor pop up, and tell you to pick which pokemon he should research. They then just spawn on the map, and then which ever gets clicked on the most is the winner. The others despawn after choosing. Make it so everyone has a vote.

    This would allow people without twitter to join the voting so noone gets excluded. This could appear every month (or every 2.) and the winner/s could be announced via Ingame-News as always.

    How difficult is the process of getting pokestops placed? I love in a very rural area with nothing around. Closest area for me to play is roughly a 20-25 drive.

    I'm curious as to how difficult it would be to have at least one pokestop placed close to my area?

    been transfering pokmeon tonight and noticed a weird glitch. keeps resetting me to top of list.

    Anytime i transfer a pokemon it puts me back at the top of whatever list im looking at. only started tonight after months of it not happening is this just the norm?

    Is it just me or is that Lapras completely overtuned? I've tried like 30 different combinations of pokemon and only once managed to even get past the Lapras, it took me 2 tries to knock out Giovanni's team!? Any tips?
