Common bugs seen this week are: Snapshots are not working. Ios 14 crashes on loading (niantic doesn't support betas) When sorting basically anything the game scrolls back to the top Distance with buddies and eggs not being tracked https://niantic.helpshift.com/a/pokemon-go/?p=web&s=release-notes-known-issues&f=known-issues&l=en [link] [comments]

Posted: 24 Aug 2020 05:24 AM PDT Problem with Go is that rural areas, while definitely better than when the game first launched, are still pretty much unplayable, at least to the same extent as towns and cities. Let's face it, regardless of what Niantic have tried to do, the rural Pokemon Go experience is just objectively worse. That said, adding something like Berry Bushes / Trees, which players can interact with like a PokeStop and receive berries (which spawn in areas where there are less PokeStops / Gyms) would significantly improve the overall experience. For example, these Berry Bushes could allow you to receive random berries when interacted with. They would also, like with lures on PokeStops and Gyms, allow the player to place honey on the bush or tree like in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl (also a good tie-in with the inevitable remakes...?) and encounter specific Pokemon. Not to mention that it would just make the map itself look more alive in rural areas and not just some boring flat-green plain with literally nothing on it. As far as I can tell, something like this would only be beneficial and supplementary to the overall experience and I can't really think of any obvious drawbacks for the player experience, even in towns and cities where they would be less likely to spawn. It would also go without saying that giving players in rural areas something to do would make them less likely to resort to spoofing, which benefits nobody. And from a development standpoint I don't even think it would be hard to implement, as it would basically just be a modified PokeStop, and Pokemon Go clearly knows where forests and rural areas are as the map texture changes to represent these geographical variations. Thoughts on this? [link] [comments]

Posted: 23 Aug 2020 08:34 PM PDT Just wanted to say that when Pokemon Go first came out it was so amazing with everybody out together finding Pokemon. But you knew it wouldn't last and the idea of an app getting you to get up and walk and explore your city long term seemed so idealistic. I really thought I would stick to my local park and call it good. But! After four years of playing I can honestly say I have discovered so much stuff because of Pokemon! Recently I discovered my favorite TableTop game cafe, I discovered a little cute shopping plaza, and - coolest of all - I saw fireflies for the first time in my life tonight when we drove to a park for a raid. It is just really cool to me and I wanted to share with others who love the game too :) [link] [comments]

Posted: 24 Aug 2020 07:14 AM PDT I wish you could have something that would let you trade from far away from people. My friend lives 2 hours away from me although we talk everyday and with the coronavirus and us far apart we can't do all the trades we want to do. Maybe a new item or something like that would be nice. [link] [comments]
