    Why is Niantic so exploitative lately?

    Lockdown happens and they add a bunch of amazing changes to keep the player base. But, instead of allowing us to remote raid with our existing premium and free daily passes, they introduce a new paid only item for remote raiding. Exploitation.

    They finally release mega evolutions, something many people have been eagerly awaiting. But, instead of giving a mega stone and possibly some kind of cooldown, they gate it behind raids, essentially making it rent-a-mega. Even the most pessimistic player expectations were not as bad as what Niantic did. Exploitation.

    And this pokestop scan quest thing. Clearly this has core business strategy advantage application that will benefit all of Niantic's current and future business endeavors. What reward do they give for getting the players to do some of the most important data collection of their business? Rare candy? Poke coins? NO! Common pokeballs or a single max potion. Exploitation.

    Niantic, you are killing the players.

    Adventure Sync doesn't work since 2-3 weeks ago

    Hello,

    I don't know what happens, but since 2-3 ago Adventure Sync doesn't work on my mobile (Samsung A3). Before this problem, Pokemon Go registered at least 25km each week, but now, 1 or 2km... :(

    I've looked around the net, and I've tried anything: - Installed Google Fit - Checked that Adventure Sync is on - Disabled Adventure Sync, closed Pokemon Go, opened Pokemon Go and enabled Adventure Sync - Disabled Adventure Sync, closed Pokemon Go, rebooted the mobile, opened Pokemon Go and enabled Adventure Sync - Checked that Pokemon Go is enabled on Google Fit connected apps - Checked that Google Fit works (for example, just now I've done 1526 steps and 1,22km) - Uninstalled Pokemon Go and reinstalled it

    So, what can I do? The app is up to date (version 0.189.0), and all I want is to use Adventure Sync so I can open, at least, 3-4 eggs each week...

    Edit: On more thing: I've also removed energy saving options for Pokemon Go, and the app has these permissions: contacts, camera, storage and location (GPS).

    Guys, if u have a doubt that u need to purify ur shadow Mewtwo or any shadow Pokemon, I got an answer that might be helpful. As many guys have commented on previous posts, DONT purify ur shadow Mewtwo. It's very strong that regular Mewtwo. It might be 20% less defensive but for the time it will be on the field, it wrecks. I'll say it once more, a 0% IV shadow Mewtwo is stronger than a hundo Mewtwo. I saw 3 to 4 same question about this, so I wanted to answer to them and others who want the answer for same question. So pls don't purify them because they are stronger. Hope this helps

    Germany and France have just announced a second wave of national covid-19 lockdowns. Why did Niantic end the pandemic bonuses so early?

    I doubt France and Germany will be the only countries to lock down in the next coming days. The U.S. is currently reaching record daily cases. Does Niantic only care about what happens in Japan and China? The temporary bonuses going away will kill the game's western audience.
