    Honestly for the last two months all I saw were Gulpins, literally everywhere. Over 400 candies for the bastards. But the day I get up to that part in the Let's Go Meltan quest not a single fucking spawn.

    What's the deal? Are they gone from the wild while this season of legends thing is going on?

    There's this lady named Miss retard, she always knocks out my pokemons when they've only been there for 5 minutes. If I see pokemons that has only been there for an hour or two I let them be, I feel like you need to be a cold blooded psychopath to instantly knock someone out..

    Like for real, it'd make playing a lot less frustrating for me at least when tending to my buddy. The AR/camera makes the game lag severely making it very hard to handle and sometimes borderline unplayable and drains my battery in seconds. Heck sometimes it lags so badly it lags my entire phone and my only way out is forcing my device off by removing the battery.

    Like, they added a non-AR option for wild encounters, so I don't see why they can't do the same for the buddy cam? Heck, maybe they could even let us choose among a few backgrounds like the default wild encounter bg, or even one based on amie, or just a flat image background (maybe with the option from picking one from our galleries-- we'd be able to draw/build our own.) I know I know, aside from playing Pokémon on phone, it's all about the augmented reality, but if done correctly a non-AR mode could be just as fun. Sometimes less is more.

    Then again, maybe it's not happening because I don't own the latest and most expensive device.

    EDIT: My dumb-butt forgot the flair.

    EDIT 2: A lot of people commented thinking of the AR+ mode, which can be toggled off. It may be helpful for users who have it but that's not my case as my device isn't compatible with it. I'm referring to the "simpler" AR mode that doesn't require scanning but still uses my camera. I just wish we could choose to play with our buddy without having to use our cameras at all, just like you can have wild encounters with an in-game background.
