    Conspiracy: The pokestop scanning is actually a plot to get free feet pics.

    Obviously nobody would ever walk around a pokestop (usually in public, well-travelled areas) getting a full 360 view like a weirdo.

    So anyone who does these tasks will walk around with their phones pointed at the ground giving Niantic free, high-quality all around shots of everyone's feet from multiple angles.
