| How about an event to help support the Bushfire recovery in Australia? Posted: 17 Jan 2020 02:03 AM PST We all know my homeland has basically been burning for forever now. With so much devestation it's going to be a LONG, SLOW & EXPENSIVE recovery for a lot of folks. A HEAP of companies, celebreties and people have helped dig deep and make some amazing contributions which are all greatly appreciated. Niantic seem to have a constant run of events for egg hatching and raids on the calendar. I think it would be great if an event was set up to help support the recovery effort in Australia. How about we ditch the Lati's raid weekend and and make it Kangaskahn raids with a (shiny chance) worldwide? With any raid pass spent going to help the recovery. Or what about a special Firefighter Hat Kangaskahn or Pikachu? I'm sure someone could knock something out that could really help everyone out and raise some much needed donation and awareness! | Posted: 17 Jan 2020 05:11 AM PST I've started playing Pokémon go again after a year off and now I fortunately live in an apartment where I can always reach a certain gym from my couch. However, after a couple weeks of getting my 8 hours and 50 poke coins, I am having some trouble. There is a certain trainer (who I do not know) that seems to have a grudge against me. Every time I put my Pokémon there they kick me out immediately. It's like they are watching 24/7. I can't even get a Pokémon in the gym for 10 minutes. What's worse is they do not even seem to care about taking the gym for themselves. Half of the time as soon as they knock me out they leave the gym empty for hours and if I wait and put one back in they do it again. If they have a Pokémon in the gym (which they always put really low CP pokemon in) I just leave it for 8 hours and then take it. But as soon as that happens they take the gym back again even though they already have reached e 50 coin limit. Why would someone be doing this? Can I do anything to report them, they are really making the game miserable? [link] [comments] |

Started speculating if I could trade this one to my son, he evolves it and then trades it back and we both get Conkeldurrs. But then I checked its stats... It's not going anywhere. Saw an I know Pokémon on my little radar thing in the corner, opened it and it was a hitmonlee! Told my Husband to put his pants back on and get in the car LOL! | Posted: 17 Jan 2020 07:20 AM PST Couple questions. 1) Can you only receive items from 3 PVP battles a day, or is it a day per person if that makes sense? 2) Not sure but it seems that you only get the sinnoh stone when using 2 or more Pokémon from the sinnoh region in battle. Posted: 17 Jan 2020 06:25 AM PST Today I was going to work and checked on my Klang, who I've been walking for a while now, and a thought came to my head: if he were to be my IRL pokemon I'd be pretty lucky! A perpetual motion pokemon (at least I think he is), that knows electric moves (charging my phone would be sweet), seems pretty easy to find a place for him to sleep at my house and although I can feed it berries, I don't see a mouth (and by that logic, no poop hole)!! I've noticed that sometimes my Pokemon's CP will actually increase in very small increments. I'm just confused as to what the mechanism is behind this, why does it happen? | Should they extend the amount of Pokemon you can have in a PVP battle from three to six? Posted: 17 Jan 2020 07:39 AM PST I was thinking heavily on this and I was thinking what if they allowed us to have up to six Pokemon to battle with like the same amount with the regular Pokemon games. I personally think it would make PVP better because then you wouldn't be so reliant on your first match up because you can win or loss a match just by the first Pokemon you have in your slot. I know there are two other Pokemon you can have but generally if you lose from the first Pokemon you brought into a battle your chances of coming back area really slim. What do you think? Do you like the three Pokemon we can use in PVP or should we be able to use more? [link] [comments] |

Posted: 17 Jan 2020 01:09 AM PST Noob question here, I was reading up on how to determine if a specific Pokémon is strong or not and how to check stats and etc and I learned a lot about IVs and CPs but the thing I don't get is, if the higher CP is used to help determine if a poke has higher IVs/stats why do certain Pokémon you can find have a high CPs but low IV or star rating? For an example, I have a Jolteon that has a CP of 1873 but has only a one star rating in his stats. Isn't 1873 decently high? If his IVs/stats are so low why is his CP so high? [link] [comments] |
| Anyone else having awful luck with IVs? Posted: 17 Jan 2020 06:46 AM PST So yesterday me and my 2 friends who play compared our favorite mons. They're lvl 21, I'm 22, we always go catching/raiding together and the amount of walking we get from adventure sync separately is just about the same. They just evolved some of their decent stuff like eevelutions, machamp, mamoswines, all 85-95% IV while I was sitting there like, where do y'all get those from?? Mine are 0-2 stars, and some 3 stars that are either lvl 10-15 or something totally useless. I've been looking around on the internet and apparently anything that has one stat below 12 is considered trash and I see people telling others "wait till you get a better one" when talking about a 80% IV mon. But what if I'm sitting on 217 eevee candies and my best stat eevee is still a 76% lvl 20? I could evolve things like kingler, tangrowth, roserade and some others but my best basic mons for them are all below 75%. They're not worth the candy let alone dust to power up, but I'm not getting anything better. Am I missing something? reposting with flair [link] [comments] |

Posted: 17 Jan 2020 01:22 AM PST Over the past week I have taken over around 12 gyms and my Pokemon have been in them for over a day, every time they get kicked out I get a message saying I have earned 50 poke coins but they never get added? Is anybody else having this issue? It's very frustrating. Edit: just for clarity, it's not the 50 pokecoins cap. I haven't received any coins at all for the last week. I play with my boyfriend too and he has been battling these gyms with me, and is missing his coins too. We're both on the same balance since the start of the week despite all our efforts.
