- Salty Sunday - Rage Rants and complaints
- For the last few months, my depression has kept me in bed almost 24/7. The only walking I bothered to do was the short distance to my therapist's office for our weekly appointments. It'd be a miracle if I managed a whole 5 km in a week. This week, I walked 25.8 km.

Maybe you haven't been lucky the whole week and that damn raid Tyrannitar ran and everyone else caught him. Or the worst part, maybe it's monday again?! (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻ Here we rant about everything that goes wrong, someone who sniped a gymspot ( ￣Д￣）, a missed Tyrannitar again (ಠ_ಠ) or that stupid bug which made you miss your raid because of the server desync, ending the raid prematurely (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ No personal insults, no trolls and provocation but all salty stuff is accepted.

It's been so long since I had the motivation to do anything, even something as simple as getting up and going for a walk. I'm really proud of myself for this small achievement. I wrote it on January 9th so sorry if the dates are incorrect. In Pokemon Silver, Lapras was my best Pokemon. It became my favorite fast enough. I was always battling with him. A few months after that, my save got corrupted and I lost him. I was so sad. After that, I made a promise to always caught one when the game had a Lapras in it, so it could became a member of my team in memory of the one I lost. It took me many months before I could have my first Lapras in Pokemon Go and I was so happy. In November-December, the Research Breakthrough rewards were Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Kyogre and Groudon. I did not have the three birds, so I gave it a shot, I got Groudon 2 times and Kyogre 2 times too. I was sad I didn't get one of the birds, and the last weeks, I didn't want to do it, and did not have time since it was the Holidays. I left my weekly research with two daily to complete. I did one a day this week, I needed one more to go to have the reward. Yesterday, I saw that the reward was a Lapras this month with two specific moves. So I completed the weekly research breakthrough and claimed my reward. To my surprise, it was a shiny Lapras. And it was 3 stars. I wanted to share my story with you. This Pokemon means so much to me. TLDR: My favorite Pokemon is Lapras and I got a shiny one. [link] [comments] | ||

| Why Not Make All Community Day Events 12 Hours? Posted: 12 Jan 2020 01:53 PM PST I really wish that Niantic was open to extending Community Days beyond their normal 3 hours. I know that this is coming off of the New Year Event which I absolutely loved. Two days of almost non stop spawn increases? I was in love. i understand that it was a special event but it feels really bad to go right back to a 3 hour event. To make things worse everyone like myself with a weekend work schedule get almost entirely screwed. I might be able to manage an hour on a Saturday CD and those only happen every other month from the looks of things. I would have loved to have gotten out the other day but I work 9-5 on sundays and had no options. I feel like this will only get worse as the Unova starters make their rotation. I've personally only caught a single Oshawatt and don't want to miss those Community Days. I'm just wondering why? Why limit the time so severely? Why not make a Community Day a 12 hour event? I wouldn't mind if the shiny variants were only available during a specific window in that time. I wouldn't mind if the CD move worked the same way. But the spawn rate increase for 12 hours would go over as nothing but amazing for the entire community and I can just about guarantee that. I'm sure others have posted about it and I acknowledge that Niantic will continue to do or not do whatever they want. But if they're open to listening to their community then this would be an amazing way to allow almost everyone to be involved in Community Days no matter what your schedule looks like. I tell him that , the man with the phones is obviously playing POGO, so I wait for the egg to hatch so we can raid the boss. Well this guy, with his 5 phones creates his own private lobby, and i visibly watch him enter the code 5 times, which didn't allow me to raid with him, this not being able to raid at all, I left feeling disappointed and wonder why that guy made a private lobby. Posted: 12 Jan 2020 05:41 PM PST So I just hatched six 10km eggs that I have been saving up for weeks in the hopes I get something good (which I happily did) and I found something out. Shinx is way too common in 10km eggs. I got 3 Shinx in a row! Half of the 10km eggs are shinx. Don't get me wrong, shinx is adorable and Luxray is a cool Pokémon, but I want to fill out the Dex and walking 10km just to get a Pokémon that you already have 3 of isn't worth it. This is the Dratini problem all over again. Doing this made me realize just how many I get from eggs. I'm not saying take them out of the pool, but can we lower them a bit. Just to the point where they don't take up half of the 10km eggs. 1 was from the 50km week award if that means anything. The only reason this is a discussion and not a complaint is because I don't know if this is just happening to me or if this is everyone. | My star piece didn’t work this morning with the adventure sync reward Posted: 13 Jan 2020 01:07 AM PST I put a star piece on at 8:59. when 9am hit, i claimed my adventure sync rewards, and only got 61k stardust, when i should've gotten the 90k stardust for walking 100km i'm quite upset because i walked every single day to get over 100km and get the stardust reward.... and now i've wasted a star piece too :( [link] [comments] |
