Saw a little Zubat and Nidoran♀, shiny checked them, no shinies, looked away for a bit. Looked back, AND THEY HAD EVOLVED. Currently trying to get them to evolve again to catch a Crobat and Nidoqueen for a ton of candy, but they won't. Gotta love the bugs that come with updates! [link] [comments] | ||

| A quick thank you to Pokemon go, from a longtime fan Posted: 11 Jan 2020 03:17 AM PST I know Pokemon (especially the newest games) can get a lot of flack, but i just wanted to give it a quick thank you for helping me through a very tough time in my life recently. So to cut a very long story short, i've recently had two very close members of my family, my cousin and mother, pass away to different forms of Cancer. I've been a huge pokemon fan since i got Pokemon Blue as a child. Now i've taken breaks here and there but always come back to it eventually. In the last year (after not playing much since about 2017) i've fully immersed myself back into PoGo. I've really found taking long walks, hatching those pesky 10km eggs, or even just using it to escape from reality every now and then really uplifting. Again, i didn't want to make this post too long, just a very quick thank you to this wonderful game thats helped me get through a horrible 2019. Here's to a happy and healthy 2020! | Trade evolution in Pogo is way better than the main series games Posted: 10 Jan 2020 01:28 PM PST So I just got the trade evolution update and it's what I wanted from the main series games for years. If you don't know, certain Pokémon in the main series games are required to be traded to evolve. This lead to several Pokémon favorites being completely neglected since it was really hard to find a buddy to trade and trade back. In pogo however these same Pokémon benefit from a trade, but you can evolve them without trading as well. Dear Niantic, thank you for not making trade evolutions mandatory like Gamefreak did. Having it just be a shortcut is a good idea, don't change it. [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 10 Jan 2020 06:30 PM PST As much as I would love to obtain some of these new Pokémon I'm not desperate and I can wait. This game is all about bad RNG and it's very demotivating for many of us because Niantic doesn't create tools that we need to have in a real world environment so that the game doesn't seem as if it's taking us for a ride. Let's just look at things from a soloist standpoint. If I want to find a Timburr raid I have to hope that I find one while driving to work one morning or going to school with my friends. It would be nice if the game had an in-game raid map to help us find it. There are areas that have cheating spoofer maps for crying out loud. You're trying to tell me that these cheats are able to create one and you are not? Your own game? I guess tasks could be looked at the same way as raids except that they're completely free. They're great as they are but again we should have a way to find them. Maps have a way to find them so again I don't see why there's no in-game way of doing this as well. Eggs are a total crap shoot but that doesn't mean they have to be as bad as an experience as they are. Sometimes on days where I hatch multiples (from my free incubator because hatching eggs sucks) I ended hatching the same exact Pokémon each time. A little bit of control would be nice? Surely we can have some sort of control. "People won't buy as many incubators if they gave us more control". I say this is false. Making a better game = a happier playerbase. [link] [comments] | ||

| PC boxes to better organize your Pokemon storage Posted: 10 Jan 2020 05:06 PM PST There is a thing that I want to be added to organize the game for a while and that is the ability to create tabs or PC boxes to better organise your Pokemon in the storage. For example, I would like to keep my event pokemon in a separate tab from the others, the same as Alola forms. Or to be able to have tabs for perfect IVs, lucky, shiny, preferred for trades (like those caught in other countries or a long time ago). I know there are many search keywords, but having them organized in the first place will ease your trades and keeping evidence of your progress. What is your opinion about this suggestion? | Posted: 11 Jan 2020 03:11 AM PST I just decided to reinstall Pokémon GO since they added new Pokémon. I got one problem though. Every time I try to catch a Pokémon, game asks me to try out AR+. I can't do that (and basic AR) since my phone doesn't support ARCore. Every time I have to dismiss the suggestion, say I understand I can turn it on in Settings and turn back to non-AR mode. All of that is annoying. Is there a way to stop that from happening. In settings I can only turn AR+ on since it's off by default. [link] [comments] |
