| Posted: 22 Feb 2020 07:34 PM PST This was my first ever community day! Within the first 15 minutes, I caught 2 shinies. By the end of the event, I caught a total of 11 shinies. My boyfriend got jealous because he only caught 5 lol. The majority of mine had low stats, except for one. However, it only had a cp of 71 as shown in the screenshot. After the event, I spend 50K stardust to completely maxed it out. I evolved it into Rhydon and Rhyperior and now it is my strongest Pokemon on my team! Thank you Niantic for a great community day! So if my buddy traded me his ear perfect Pokemon and I traded him a near perfect of mine as well. Will we have a higher chance of getting both near perfect or is it still completely random? Thanks! The only positive, I have enough candies to evolve and max my 90% rhydon. Lol. With reading the amazing cd posts, I figured id let anyone else know that wasn't so lucky, it's not just you lol. Edit. | Posted: 23 Feb 2020 06:07 AM PST at home on my 60mbps connection 20 upload no latency issues at all however every time I use these pokemon after about 5 licks or water guns weak connection and I just watch my opponent kill me so I have literally given up Niantic dont want to know about it and I am then therefore forced to use other pokemon I do not have the resources to use... It sucks as well because great league was really fun and loads of issues have come about on ultra league now its a burden to play and would much rather watch money burn then spend it on this ****. Once again this issue only happens with certain pokemon and yes i am now on 10 losses in a row due to this sheer bs. Tried out of the house on 4G as well same issue just another bug to add to the list that Niantic wil never fix or ever care to fix.. Great responses as always check your connection okay boomer. | Posted: 23 Feb 2020 01:05 AM PST First, let me state that I live out in the country. The nearest Pokéstop is about two, maybe three miles from me. I do not drive nor do I own a car. In order for me to be able to play Pokémon Go, I have to ride my bicycle about four miles into town (The Pokéstop that is two or three miles from me is just a church). And even when I get into town, it is not that big, there is no real easy way to rack up a lot of distance. The town is fortunate enough to have plenty of Pokéstops and gyms—more than most small towns. There is only four intersections right in town where all the Pokéstops and gyms are and it is not worth going all the way down the main road going south just for maybe two Pokéstops and a gym near the highway. It is more beneficial to just stick near the four intersections going east and west. However, there is not much distance between those four intersections. Keep going and it is dead—more so than the south main road to the highway. an occasional turn into the neighborhood from the second intersection is fine to hit the water tower gym, but that is usually once per play unless there is a raid there or something. TL:DR 1: I live out in the country and there is not a lot of ground to be covered in town inhibiting the ability to get a lot of distance. Now onto the story: My father took my wife and I to Firekeepers Casino, which is about a 50 minute drive from my town. Along the way, he was explaining to us how to check machines and see when they are ready to hit. This involved a lot AND I MEAN A LOT of walking around, checking all the betting amounts of a few specific machines to determine whether they are ready to give a high payout. This was based on where the wild spots were. If it was not ready, you just walk to the next. There were 18 all together to check, when you got to the last one, you loop back around and check them again as somebody may have played them changing where the wild spots were. Well, before we started checking machines, I thought that it was a good idea to get my buddy Pokémon Lugia out by feeding him as if he is out and I close my game, distance still adds to his hearts. I knew that I was going to walk A LOT checking machine after machine—especially when my father said "I bet that I get at least five miles a visit walking checking machines." An hour in, Lugia already gained three hearts for distance. I spent from ≈7 PM to ≈2 AM checking machines, only playing when they were ready to hit. As soon as we got to the truck, I checked and it said " You walked 27.3 km this week. " Well today was the only day that I did any major walking or playing Pokémon Go as I cannot get out when there is snow because riding my bicycle into town to play Pokémon Go is not possible in the snow. I was stuck at home all week but I hit my record for a week in just one night. TL;DR 2: I walked 27.3 km in just one night from checking machines in a casino over and over, a personal best. | Have community day shiny rates changed recently? Posted: 23 Feb 2020 08:59 AM PST So on the piplup community day I caught over 100 of them and encountered many more then that. No shiny encounter. I though it must be some kind of fluke.Yesterday was the same results. I caught enough rhyorn to get over 500 candies before I stopped catching them and just started shiny checking them. Has anyone else noticed a decrease in shiny Pokémon on CD or am I just a statistical anomaly? [link] [comments] |
| Where is the best place to find info on best Pokemon? We have looked desperately for a website to give you info on the best raid fighter by type. We keep finding websites giving different information, so we just want the most accurate site. Thanks!
