I made DIY Luvdisc Jeans! https://m.imgur.com/jcgHGH2 Posted: 19 Mar 2020 08:52 PM PDT https://m.imgur.com/jcgHGH2 This was done with jeans, paint, and a razor! If you're interested in making these just paint the luvdiscs on with paint, and for the rips i just cut 2 parallel lines with the razor and took a pair of tweezers to pull out the threads in between the cuts, which is what gives you the white strings on the rips [link] [comments]
Props to Wailord for practicing social distancing! Posted: 20 Mar 2020 02:54 AM PDT If our pokemon can practice social distancing, we can too! Well done Wailord! link to image: https://imgur.com/FAsbIAj [link] [comments]
Posted: 20 Mar 2020 01:08 AM PDT I can't go outside because of the quarantine and have no pokestops to reach, also im not level 40 so i can't place one on my own and im almost out of pokeballs, so niantic please add something to get pokeballs,TIA [link] [comments]
Posted: 19 Mar 2020 11:43 PM PDT Thank you very much for the 30 incense for 1 coin to allow us to play from home. Only problem is we have nothing to catch them with. This is coming from somebody that opens all of their daily gifts and lives with a pokestop that they can spin from their room. By no means the first time this has been posted, but nothing has been changed yet so I'm gonna complain until they do [link] [comments]
Stop complaining about things in the game that require you to move. Posted: 20 Mar 2020 04:36 AM PDT We all like playing pokemon go, obviously. However, many people seem to be asking a game that's based on getting out of the house to remove all of the features that require you to do so, which is ridiculous. Stop it. It is unfortunate that the situation in the world stops us from playing the game, but that's just how life is. It is your responsibility to make the right choices and keeping yourself and others safe, and that should be everyone's priority. If a game doesn't fit your current situation, then you don't prioritize the game. This should be a reality check, but seems like even a pandemic can't do that to some. Thanks to Niantic for making the changes they have. However, expecting the game to complete change is ridiculous. Stay safe and prioritize things that actually matter. Ps. there are many games you can play that don't require you to move (including pokemon games). You have choices. [link] [comments]
Now, more than ever, we need the "Home location" feature. Posted: 20 Mar 2020 03:00 AM PDT https://i.imgur.com/xVb0IaL.png We just choose a location as our "Home" and can spin it like a pokéstop, to get items. Doesn't matter if we only get 1-2 per spin. Doesn't matter if it has a 10 minute cooldown. Doesn't matter if we can only change it once every 2 months. Doesn't matter if we don't get any extra Pokémon on it. Doesn't matter if we cannot put lures in it. But i really think this is the time to launch that feature. [link] [comments]
Posted: 20 Mar 2020 05:51 AM PDT First and foremost: props to Niantic for trying to limit gatherings due to coronavirus. That being said: the spawns right now is really how it should be. Having actual spawns in a suburban area is a nice change of pace. I actually feel like I'm playing the game and not looking for three spawns that change every half hour. Honestly, I wish they'd keep the spawns increased in non-metropolitan areas. [link] [comments]
Thank you to all my gifting friends during coronacrisis Posted: 20 Mar 2020 06:00 AM PDT I know there are tons of post complaining about the lack of pokeballs to take advantage of the incense deal and I, for one, am continuing to be a no-pay player. But in the moment I'm so thankful to all the friends I have who continue to give me gifts. You are the only reason I can still play during this isolation. I am just going to assume you live in close proximity to pokestops or gyms and aren't being reckless with your health or your communities. If you live on top of a stop or gym and haven't maxed out your friend list, I hope you consider posting your trainer code and helping spread the love. I'm not sure here is the best place (don't know all the sub rules) but I know r/pokemongofriends is a good one. [link] [comments]

The Pokeball Crises - Niantics responses and New Boxes - A cry for help! Let us be heard! Posted: 19 Mar 2020 05:33 PM PDT We are all living a crises, and so is the Pokemon World. As many countries drive themselves into social isolation and even lockdowns we face our own crises: The Pokeball Crises 1 - Niantics first answer: 30 incubaters We can't leave home. We shouldn't leave home. Niantic knows that and reacted by giving us the 30 incenses with 60 pokemon each (1800 total pokemon). We got excited! It seemed a step on the right direction! But as we began using them something began apparent: how to catch them? How to stock up on pokeballs? Sure, we can open up to 20 gifts daily, but that gives us a maximum of 20 balls (if you are really lucky), enough to play through 1/3 of a incense, or 20 minutes of gameplay. Yes, you could buy more pokebals at the shop, but their high cost in relation to other products makes them an extremely expensive purchase, for little return: let me explain
And thats a real problem, because this way, the 1800 pokemon end up becoming an incentive to rush for stops! Leave home and social isolation! Thats the opposite of what the company should be aiming for! And here is the result: Public Shame to all of our community https://www.newsweek.com/pokemon-go-italy-lockdown-coronavirus-1493240 2- Niantics second answer: The Boxes We cried on twitter! We cried here at the silphroad! Asking for their assistance and today they answered us with 3 new boxes:
These are even worse than the separate bundles of 200 pokeballs for 800 coins. Is this the answer niantic? Because all we want is to be able to play our beloved game, all we want is to be able to use the 30 incubaters (and even possible buy more). But we neeed those resources niantic! 3- The Design Flaw: Incenses cost 40 coins each that means 60 pokemons for 40 coins. In that sense, with 800 coins (the price os 200 pokeballs) we can buy 20 incences and conjure 1200 pokemos. So: 800coins- 20 incences - 1200 pokemons 800 coins- 200 pokeballs Yet at the same price we can buy enough only to capture 1/12 of those pokemon. This is clearly a design flaw. We want to capture them, we want to continue playing, and we want to even buy pokeballs, but we need a better price for that to work. 4 - A cry for HELP: Reddit! Please as a player that loves our game, I urge you not to delete this message, to spread the word about the Pokeball Crises!!!! This subreddit has showed us that together we have the means and power to reach out to the company!!! We need you moderators now more than ever before! Please help us reach out to them, spread our needs and by doing so, ensure the safety of all us, together, united! TLDR - The Pokeball Crises has come to our game! The game wont sustain itself only with the GBL for the following months! We need better prices for pokeballs or a new/smart way to get them Ingame! PokemonGO must adapt, as we all have during these very hard times! [link] [comments]

Niantic Should Increase the Interaction Radius During this Peroid. Posted: 19 Mar 2020 06:50 PM PDT I believe they can try to help out those who are currently in self-isolation to reach gyms or pokestops without having the need to go out. [link] [comments]
What if our buddy could bring us pokeballs? Posted: 20 Mar 2020 03:31 AM PDT I've seen a lot of posts complaining about a low supply of pokeballs (for good reason). The "home location" feature is probably the best idea I've read about so far, but another idea could be our buddy finds us pokeballs like they find us souvenirs and berries. I mean, you find pokeballs on the ground in the regular games, so why not on PGo as well? They could bring us like 10 or 20 balls at a time, like twice a day, and then 50 or 100 once a day, depending on how good of buddies you are? Just a thought. [link] [comments]
First little Bugzy I clicked on! Posted: 20 Mar 2020 08:02 AM PDT I hope this uploads right, I am horrible with the Mobile Imgur app. I was excited so I thought I would share and hopefully spread the luck of Golden Bugz today! [link] [comments]
Now that everyone is stuck on their homes I will once again shill the idea of personal pokestops. Posted: 19 Mar 2020 03:18 PM PDT Last time I wrote this idea the general answer is that "this was pokemon GO and not STAY, you arent supposed to play while at home" Well guess what guy I cant remember the name of, now we are supposed to play from our homes! Because we die otherwise! Sigh. Anyways, the idea is pretty simple. You can set one GPS spot and it becomes your Secret Base, like the ones you can create in the main games. The Secret Base is visible only for you. It doesnt require a photo or anything. While in the area pokemon spawn that are visible only for you, like with an incense. That's it. Now everyone can play despite the quarantine. But because this is niantic and I am cynical enough to know they wont do it unless people pay for it,make it so setting up your secret base costs... dunno, 500 coins? And then if you want to move it somewhere else you need to pay 500 more. For a bonus, make it so a friendship of 3 hearts or more allows your friend to see the pokestop and its pokemon as well. Though maybe hold onto that feature until after the whole Corona thing goes away. [link] [comments]
Poke balls not used to catch special research Pokémon? Posted: 20 Mar 2020 06:09 AM PDT While catching the Trubbish, the first encounter in the Genesect special research event, I noticed that my poke balls were not decreasing in number if I missed Trubbish, or of it broke out of the poke ball. This must be Niantic's way of preserving pokeballs for the event, just like we asked for. Thank you Niantic for continuously showing us that the players and their concerns are at the forefront of their minds during this pandemic! Catch 'em all! Except COVID-19! [link] [comments]
Why are pikachus constantly surrounding my house? Posted: 20 Mar 2020 05:26 AM PDT I open Pokémon go to find about 5 Pikachu surrounding my house. Is there a nest nearby or Is this just coincidence? [link] [comments]
A solution to the pokeball crisis Posted: 20 Mar 2020 04:18 AM PDT With the whole global Corona virus situation niantic has made the PvP battles super accessible which is great. Why not use this to solve the pokeball crisis too. Make a bundle of balls available as a default participation prize, no wins required. There could be maybe 30 balls per set of five battles garunteed as an extra on top of the regular rewards. This would push people towards the PvP like they clearly want and give everyone the balls they so desperately want. On another note, please for the love of God make cobalion as a reward an instant catch like shiny legendaries. Yesterday my girlfriend burned through between 15-20 balls just trying to catch it. This resulted in being locked out of PvP for half the day while hoping for gifts. And let's be honest, right now the only thing we can do is PvP. [link] [comments]
Pokestop Cooldown time should be decreased temporarily. Posted: 20 Mar 2020 12:25 AM PDT If this is already posted then I apologise. Recently for the portal hacks agents of Ingress have received a cooldown time from 300 seconds to 90 seconds whereas for Pokemon GO trainers still have the 300 second cooldown, now due to the self quarantine we only get to access a few pokestops and some rural players get almost none. It would be a good decision to temporarily change the pokestop cooldown from 300 seconds to 90seconds. I still have the 30 incense with me cause in the local group people said the spawns are good but since they couldn't access pokestops it was kind of wasteful and ultraballs though have a great catch rate would be wasted on low CP mons for those who would want to farm stardust and candies. I look forward to your thoughts and other ideas that you all may have EDIT1: cooldown time is 90 seconds for Ingress agents and not 60. [link] [comments]
Posted: 20 Mar 2020 05:00 AM PDT Look, I've seen that a lot of people here like the GBL, but personally I've grown progressively more frustrated with it due to a variety of factors: - Firstly, something that's been complained about enough: lag. I won't elaborate much about that here since everyone has inevitably experienced it, but it just sucks how it basically leads to 1-2 guaranteed losses per set depending on your luck. - Legendary pokemon rewards: This isn't really an issue with the GBL itself, but more the fact that they simultaneously disappeared from the weekly research. So they allegedly removed legendaries from the weekly research rewards because they were becoming 'too common' and 'not special anymore', right? So instead they're literally showering players with legendaries as a reward in the GBL. How does that even make sense? Moreover, due to the way that the reward system is set up, the people that have most chance to get them are the hardcore players and those who throw money at the game (since then you only need a 40% winrate to get them). In other words, the people who already have the least need for them. At least with the weekly research you had to play consistently and you could only get 1 legendary every week. Now you can just take your credit card and potentially get 5 legendaries a day... - Reward system: Pokemon encounters aside, the reward system itself is also rather problematic. I won't really talk about how it's essentially pay-to-win under disguise, but more on how it promotes smurfing. Because the most desirable rewards require winning quite a number of games in a row, a lot of players are simply tanking their rating so they can more easily get the rewards they want in the long run. It makes the GBL anything but competitive and more a game of coin tossing instead. The rewards are also way too good to pass up (boatloads of stardust, decent number of rare candies, exclusive and legendary pokemon) that a lot of players just play to chase the rewards instead of playing becaus ethey want to. And this in turn also causes the next point. - Meta slaves: I know that every competitive game will have a meta and all, but that's usually reserved for the higher ranks of play. In the GBL, the majority of players you encounter already from rank 2 onwards are using meta pokemon, usually with the same attacks. Regardless of winning or losing, it just makes the GBL boring. This game has 500+ pokemon by now and you always see the same 6-7 even at the lowest of the lowest of ranks. All in all, I feel like the GBL is in concept a very nice addition, but it's riddled with unnecessarily frustrating aspects. And it wouldn't even take too much to remedy this. Just change the reward system to a more battle pass-like structure (that is, don't reset the rewards every set) and you immediately get rid of most of these points. Come on, Niantic, look past your greed for once, best case you can make this feature more enjoyable for everyone, worst case it won't affect those who already like it and make it more enjoyable for those who don't like it now. Temp half distance for buddies? Posted: 19 Mar 2020 07:44 PM PDT I think considering, half distance for buddies would be huge - especially since eggs are already halved. [link] [comments]
