    Here is everything we know so far about Enigma Week:

    Enigma Week will run from Friday, August 7, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. PDT to Friday, August 14, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT -7).

    Wild spawns will include primarily Psychic-type Pokémon, including Staryu, Jigglypuff, Clefairy, Lunatone, Solrock, Baltoy, Bronzor, and the newly released Elgyem! We don't yet know if Lunatone and Solrock will be available outside their respective regions.

    7km eggs will be featuring the return of a few baby Pokémon (Cleffa and Igglybuff) as well as Lunatone, Solrock, and Elgyem.

    Raids will feature Bronzong, Claydol, Elgyem, and Unown U, L, T, R, and A.

    Normal Forme Deoxys will be coming back to five-star raids with its shiny form available for the first time!

    This event will also feature the debut of Staryu and Starmie in their shiny forms, as well as the release of Elgyem and its evolution Beeheyem. Niantic also announced that Unown can be found in its shiny form for this event. While that almost definitely applies to the letters appearing in raids, it may also apply to any Unown that spawn in the wild during the event.

    Like Dragon Week before it, Enigma Week is for everyone, not just GO Fest ticket holders.

    New Daily Research is asking TOO MUCH (Win a raid, Defeat A Team Rocket Leader)

    UPDATE: In the new system being tested in Germany and Australia you can get JUST 30 POKECOINS from Gyms. If you want to get the remaining 20 coins, you have to finish 5 daily tasks.

    This new Daily Research to get pokecoins is asking us too much isn't it? To be able to defeat a Team Rocket Leader I will need to pretty much play the whole day just to get the parts and still need to find where the leader is.

    I feel tricked with this new system and I'm definitely not having fun accomplishing those daily tasks. What do you guys think?

    New Coin system

    Niantic is testing a new coin system to implement through which the daily amount of gym coins is reduced to 30 with the other 20 earnable through daily missions akin to the field missions so 'more people have the chance to get coins'.

    Great in concept, right? Too bad that you gotta do a raid for it or defeat the ludacris strong Team Go Rocket Bosses with their 30k+ CP OP monsters. How are people supposed to do raids if they can't even get a gym (or have one near for that matter)?

    This was first tested in Australia and after a thoroughly BAD feedback, Niantic decided to broaden the test area to more countries. German player here and I can watch the app store score decrease in real time.

    Many trainers, who cannot go to gyms due to lockdown, and cannot pay to buy pokecoins, please provide a daily-free raid-pass.

    It will be most helpful to trainers from countries like Nepal, where local debit or credit-cards won't work for international online-purchases.

    ...when gyms could be level 10, and would have ten blisseys? You'd spend 30 minutes clearing it, when now I won't stop and clear if it takes more than two minutes.

    Anyone else just have terrible luck with shiny Pokémon and stuff? Like does anyone have a couple friends that are always getting shiny Pokémon and you play just as much as them and just can't find a single shiny?
