I try to keep up with events but somehow I just knew about getting the 1 melatan from research and that was it. When I saw he was 400 candies to evolve I thought oh I'll just buddy him for a while. 20KM CANDY?! LOL no thanks and moved on. Then I kept seeing Metmetals everywhere. I'm over here thinking dang people walk a ton or use Rare candies for him exclusively... After using all my Rare Candies for Metwo recently I changed it to Meltan to start pecking away at thoes 400 candies I needed... I put at least 40-50 candies into him until running into the gift box TODAY. I saw a thread the other day about open your gift box at a certain time and boom 600 metal candies. I was so lost and I asked what it all meant, and they just kept giving me the math breakdown of meltan and candies and I just needed to know WHAT EFFING GIFT BOX! Gave up and saw another thread today that said watch this video... and would you know it after all this time I found out about the Meltan Box you get (APPARENTLY EVERY 3 DAYS IF YOU WANT?!?!) for connecting Pokemon Home and Pokemon GO and transfering a pokemon.... I have a switch and fully pokedex Sword game. I installed an setup Pokemon Home at launch (but honestly haven't really used it or looked at it much). I thought I connected those two way back when it was release but apparantly not. Today has been so sad ayet so exciting at the same time. Just swimming in Meltan and should have a Melmetal in no time. I just learned about the quick catch method with the berry menu as well on Gible day!! Been playing since launch but these last few weeks have been eye opening. Is there any more fantastic tricks or tips I have been missing here?! TL;DR - Don't Rare Candy your Meltan like me. Just connect Pokemon Home and GO and get the meltan mystery box every three days and you will be swimming in Meltan. [link] [comments] |

Facing the Elite four with an Alakazam was a guaranteed win. Since Mew and Mewtwo were unobtainable during the game, Alakazam was the best available Psychic type. But they really ruined him. It's so glassy and can't take a hit. Using it in pvp is suicide. I have a maxed one just for the heck of it, but I've never been able to use it. Same with Mew. What was supposed to be an amazing Pokémon is meh in the league. Same with Deoxys. At least they did justice to Mewtwo, but I'm really disappointed all my favorite Pokémon are garbage in the game. | Question about up coming Bidoof event. Posted: 16 Jun 2021 03:55 AM PDT Small spoilers I guess. But as it's been discovered. Bidoof caught during this event will have 3 exclusive moves. Shadow Ball, Thunderbolt and Ice Beam. And, if we evolve then during the week Bibarel will have Hyper Beam. Obviously when you evolve one it'll replace the exclusive move with Hyper Beam, however, will S!Ball T!Bolt and I!Beam still be available in Bibarels move pool, via TM or secondary slot? Because if not I'd much rather keep the unique Bidoof moves for the novelty than a Bibarel with Hyper Beam who I'll never use. [link] [comments] |

There has been a pokestop in reach of my desk since last September when I moved into this spot. Now it's really random when I can or can't reach it. I always felt like I could relate to Charmander. Especially when he grew up, evolved into Charizard sure he was rebellious but then again who wasn't as a teen. Posted: 15 Jun 2021 07:42 PM PDT I literally only ever see middle aged people and slightly younger then middle aged people on the bus playing but I've never met another player my age since lie summer of 2016. It would really make me feel better if I knew it was still relevant to my age group. Man it was so cool going down the block and seeing other trainers at the poke stop and like interacting with real people. And the community days man those were fun. | Trying to recover my account, only to be given the run around Posted: 16 Jun 2021 07:24 AM PDT For the longest time, I've been using my facebook as a mean to sign into pokemon go, I didn't lose my account or anything but I was render from signing in ever since. At which, I wrote several ticket to Niantic asking for help. I received a replied and was given an instruction to add a different e-mail to my facebook. To which I did but was then ignored. I invest significant amount of time and money into the game because I enjoy the event as well playing with friends. Now I'm disheartened as well lost into seeing that I'm being ignored and left with nothing. Is there anything else I can try? I also attempted to contact their support group via twitter. | Reporting a Problem to Niantic from Outside of the App Posted: 16 Jun 2021 09:34 AM PDT Does anyone know a good way to contact Niantic support without going through the app? My app hasn't worked at all since Sunday and their website tells me to report issues through the app I can't use. I've deleted and reinstalled the game and have reset my phone and still nothing. I just bought PokeCoins last week so I'm considering just disputing the charge through Apple and deleting the app permanently since I can't utilize the coins I purchased.
