Growing up as a basketball fan in Southern California, Kobe Bryant was everything, but the pure talent and work ethic he had transcended basketball. He will be missed dearly, but never forgotten. Remember how you get lucky friend from another side on Earth the next day you become best, and waiting years for lucky friendship with your companion in every raid? And when you get 40 lvl, catching becomes hard. Is it some twisted reward for your progress? What's the meaning of great curve ultraball throw with rasp, if ordinary pokemon can break it? And how about your fingers being frozen when you trying your best to catch raid boss in -10 Celsius and it still escapes? So ideas are:

| Posted: 28 Jan 2020 06:10 AM PST Idk if there's a specific reddit thread for glitches in Pokémon go but after this recent update, gyms stop appearing on the map. I'll open the game and the gyms will be there. But after a while of having it open, they no longer show up. Is anyone else experiencing this? They come back if I restart the app, but it's definitely annoying to have to do that. [link] [comments] | ||

Silph Road reported they were still 5% but then got boosted to 9% the second day. Support is refuting their research. [link] [comments] | ||

| Whats with the berry defence??? Posted: 28 Jan 2020 03:59 AM PST Me and my partner were out battling a gym for over half an hour and had to concede. We finally knocked out everyone except for the last two. A snorlax and a gyarados. But they kept feeding them berries. We kept winning and winning and winning but they kept healing and healing. We beat them god only knows how many times. Then in the middle of a battle suddenly it is full again back up to 6 defenders. We gave up. For now. We will be back after dark to smash them. What has the game come to that you Can just defend a gym with berries? Worst part is that we couldnt see anyone around. Pretty darn sure they were spoofers. [link] [comments] | ||
| Posted: 28 Jan 2020 06:09 AM PST The idea: All lures, incense, and special lures get combined into 1 item type, just called Lure or Incense Lure (2x received per current special lure). The description says it can be sprayed on a player or pokestop. When spraying on a pokestop, the UI has a central disc with the lure in it, and then 3 discs below with elemental types, for which one can be selected. A second lure icon appears on them if tapped, and the confirmation button says "Spend [Lure Icon] x 2" This makes buying lures & incense much more appealing, without having to stress over whether the right one is being picked, which leads to paralysis. It makes receiving either feel like it offers so many more options, and condenses the inventory list. Another possibility, condense Lucky Eggs and Star Pieces into "Lucky Stars". When the player activates it, they have the option of 2 modes, and a confirmation button. It's currently actively stressful accidentally enabling a lucky egg or star piece when trying to scroll through the inventory screen with visual lagginess, with no confirmation button. As great as a minimalist UI is, this is one place where combining those would work better. Receiving lucky eggs at max level is also more appealing, making boxes containing them more appealing. | This game led me to my new best friend! Posted: 27 Jan 2020 03:10 PM PST When the game originally came out, I began playing with my girlfriend at the time and it brought us closer together. It was a dark time in my life and she helped pull me out of thoughts of suicide. We quit playing in time, and shortly after proposing to her she cheated on me and indirectly I had to put my career path on hold for two years after the guy she cheated on me with tricked me into smoking THC oil out of a vape pen. Feeling crappy about everything, I left, and found myself in a relationship that turned verbally and emotionally abusive, which also fell apart. This all took place over 5 years. Feeling lost, upset, severely damaged self esteem, and that the world was against me for months, I started a new semester. I decided to start playing again after 3 years or so since campus is a hotspot and it gave me something to take my mind off everything that's happened. Second day of class, I see a woman sitting on the floor swiping furiously at her phone screen. I ask her "Are you taking my gym?" And the rest is history. She's helped me put myself back together, reminded me I'm worth more than I've been told, constantly makes me laugh and smile, and has become my best friend. Without this game, there's no telling where I'd be mentally. We now play every day and I it's always the highlight of my day. [link] [comments] | ||
